Our Purpose & The Doxaphos Difference
We exist for one reason: to help fellow believers further the purpose God has called them to.
We don’t serve everyone, and that’s intentional. Doxaphos was built specifically for churches, Christian schools, ministries, nonprofits, and faith driven business owners who are trying to build something that honors God, not just a bottom line. If your mission isn’t rooted in that calling, we’re probably not the right fit for you, and we say that with love, not judgment.
This started with a search for a private Christian school for our own child, and the discovery that more than sixty school websites we reviewed didn’t do their school justice. Broken navigation, dead links, blurry photography, admissions pages that discouraged families before they ever reached the form. These were schools doing kingdom work, shaping the next generation in Christ, yet their websites told a completely different story.
That was the moment it clicked. Between us, we already held the exact skill set needed to solve that problem. We didn’t want to build another agency competing for the highest bidder. We wanted to build something that felt like ministry itself, using the gifts God had given us, in service of people doing His work.
So we pray over every project before we begin. We take time to actually know the person and the mission behind the work. We believe your calling deserves a website, a brand, and a system that reflects the excellence of what God is doing through you, not something that quietly works against it.
That is our purpose: helping other Christians further theirs. Not growing a client list.
The Doxaphos Difference
We may not be your first creative team, but we aim to be your last, and we aim to be a team that shares your faith, not just your project brief.
Graphic and web design is a high burn field, and many clients come to us after being disappointed by previous designers or well meaning volunteers who didn’t understand the weight of what they were building for. Our approach is shaped by that awareness, and by the conviction that this work is ministry, not just a transaction.
We offer individualized care, thoughtful collaboration, and high touch dedication, creating work rooted in depth, stability, and shared purpose. Many of our clients have worked with us for five to ten years, because we’re not chasing a portfolio piece. We’re investing in your mission alongside you.
We’re happy to screen share and walk you through our design process so we can collaborate and end the revision loop once and for all.
What sets us apart:
- 35 years of experience across design, art, and creative direction, combined with enterprise level software development, now devoted entirely to serving the church and Christian community
- Excellent and honest communication. You can actually call us on the phone or email us. We’re direct and easy to work with
- Real time collaboration through screen sharing, so you can ask questions while we’re designing, not after
- Straight answers. We tell you if something is or isn’t possible and explain why in detail. We don’t guess or assume, and if we don’t know, we’ll find out
- Humility alongside expertise. We’re experts in our respective fields, but we stay appreciative and open to learning
- A shared foundation. Because we’re both believers building this as an act of worship, we understand what you’re trying to build in a way an agency without that conviction simply can’t
- Gratitude. We’re grateful for you and for the chance to serve your mission. You matter here, and so does the work God has called you to.
How Can We Help Your Mission?
Your purpose deserves more than an old website someone built five years ago, full of broken links and a calendar still stuck in 2022. We craft beautiful, easy to use websites, high impact mobile apps, and brands designed to solve real problems, so your mission is visible instead of buried behind a site that’s working against you.
Here’s how that plays out depending on where you are.
If You’re Running Admissions for a School You Believe In
A confusing admissions page or a site that breaks on a parent’s phone isn’t just a technical annoyance. It’s a family who needed what your school offers, quietly deciding to look elsewhere.
What we bring: a site that works flawlessly on any device, a clear and simple path from “just looking” to “enrolled,” and a partner who fixes what’s broken instead of adding to your plate.
If You’re Shepherding a Church That Deserves Better Than a Volunteer Site
People visit your website long before they ever walk through your front door. If it still looks like it was built five years ago and totally forgotten, it’s quietly saying something about your church that isn’t true.
What we bring: a site as warm and current as your community actually is, simple online giving, easy updates without needing a developer on call, and a first impression that says “you belong here.”
If You’re Leading a Ministry or Nonprofit That’s Bigger Than Your Budget
You’re doing real work, feeding kids, showing up for families in crisis, keeping a decades old ministry alive on a team smaller than it should be. But if your brand doesn’t match the heart of what you’re doing, every grant application and donor meeting gets a little harder.
What we bring: a brand and website that finally look as credible as your work already is, built to earn trust fast with new donors, partners, and the families you’re trying to reach.
If You’re Building a Business That Reflects Your Faith, Not Just Your Bottom Line
You’re tired of agencies and freelancers handing you cold, templated copy or AI generated filler with no soul in it. You want something built with the same intention and care you’re putting into your own work.
What we bring: a brand that actually sounds like you, built by a real designer with two decades of experience, paired with a website built to turn visitors into customers, not just look nice sitting there.
Everything We Do, To Get You There
Website design and development, branding and graphic design, photography and visual content, and marketing and growth strategy, all under one roof, so your mission isn’t stitched together across five different vendors.
We’re not a high volume studio. We pray over every project, and we only take on work we believe in, work built by and for people pursuing the same calling we are.
